If you signed up for the forums between August 19th and August 24th, but did not receive an activation email, please email buswellj@o3magazine.com. I am pretty sure that I re-sent the activation emails to everyone.

One of the web application servers for the forums was missing its ActionMailer configuration. This resulted it activation emails not going out because it did not know where to send them.

This appears to only have impacted a small number of forum signups, as most of the new signups this week went to other servers in the cluster.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the readers involved.
